Dear Friends, Partners, and Members of the Uplift Community, A new year brings reflection, renewal, and possibility, and at Uplift Center for Grieving Children, it also brings momentum. As we step into this next chapter together, I’m excited to share what we’ve been building and where we’re headed. In short: it’s a new year, a new Uplift, and yes, we’re ready to give them something to talk about. Uplift was founded on a simple but powerful belief: no child should grieve alone. That commitment remains at the heart of everything we do. What continues to evolve is how we show up for children, teens, caregivers, and communities across Philadelphia through deeper partnerships, expanded programming, and a continued emphasis on healing-centered, trauma-responsive support. This year, Uplift is strengthening its foundation while also stretching forward. We are growing our reach, investing in our people, and collaborating more intentionally with partners who share our vision for equity, healing, and access. Our goal is not only to serve more families, but to do so in ways that are sustainable, responsive, and grounded in community voice. None of this is possible without you; our partners, funders, champions, and community of support. Your trust, collaboration, and belief in this work allow Uplift to continue showing up for families during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. Thank you for being part of this journey. We look forward to what this year will bring and to continuing this work together boldly, compassionately, and with purpose.
